In January 2014, Lisandra set out to ask current aspiring actors in Los Angeles the question: “If you could be anyone else for one day, who would you be and why?”
After sorting through hundreds of submissions Lisandra interviewed, met and photographed the aspiring actors shown above in their homes in order to study their aspirations vs. their every day existence.
What started out as a study of aspirations within a domestic environment turned out to be a gateway to a critique of the business of profiting from aspiring artists.
